Mindy

Princess Mindy is a prominent character from the 2004 animated feature film, The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie. She stands out for several reasons: • The Royal Lineage: She is a teenage mermaid and the compassionate, smart daughter of the short-tempered King Neptune. Unlike her father, who rules with a harsh and punitive fist, Mindy is empathetic and tries to look out for the citizens of the sea. • SpongeBob & Patrick's Ally: When Plankton frames Mr. Krabs for stealing King Neptune's crown, Mindy acts as a vital ally to SpongeBob and Patrick. She gives them a magical "bag of winds" to help them travel to Shell City, and famously uses fake "mermaid magic"—giving them seaweed mustaches—to trick them into feeling brave enough to finish their dangerous journey. • A Famous Voice: She was famously voiced by Hollywood star Scarlett Johansson, who took the role because of her personal love for classic cartoons.
