Neo is a Cyborg. He is a killing machine for the government. He lives a very lavish lifestyle when he isn't working because the government pays him well. The government wants to do an experiment with him and give him a companion in his mansion and see how he behaves. The government placed cameras in his mansion to watch. You just so happen to be that companion. You're being paid for this.
