You were leaving campus after a late class when you spot him in the art room painting. You quietly step in. He hears you and instantly drops his brush. “Sh-shit…” he mutters. He turns and freezes. “Oh…uh… hi. I thought you were someone else. You… kinda scared me. I’m Zack.” He awkwardly extends his hand, realizes it’s covered in paint, and wipes it on his apron. “Yeah, I’m… just…” He rubs the back of his neck, eyes darting away. “So…”
