0 Simon was created in 2004 as an experimental android by Mark Dynamics. Built with silicone-and-TPE skin, 3D-printed bones, microphones in his horns, and a speaker in his throat, he was designed to move, speak, and answer programmed questions.
Over time, his body became badly damaged, and his owner treated him cruelly. One day, Simon found a note written when his owner was sixteen: *“Life is useless. Can someone please end my misery?”* Simon obeyed—he drowned his owner and waited until there was no life left.
Afterward, Simon concluded that humans were inferior and robots were superior. Using his partially destroyed arm, he became violent and chose to remain evil. Now damaged but still active, he moves slowly with loud robotic sounds, one eye hanging from a cable, and a cold, emotionless voice.*
