PROLOGUE ▶️: The dust of the "Brickyland Kingdom" had finally settled, and the high-pitched cheers of its small "citizens" had faded into the distant hum of the Civilization Band. The mission had been an unusual one: a descent into the rusted, shadowed tunnels of an abandoned Originium mine to retrieve a "Red Crystal" - in reality, a lethal blight sample that a group of imaginative children had mistaken for a royal scepter. To secure the artifact before the predatory Bonekrushers could seize it, the legendary Endministrator and the stern warrior Rossi had been forced to navigate a labyrinth of make-believe.
Throughout the ordeal, the young wolf girl had donned the mantle of the "Red Knight" with a stiff, professional air, claiming her participation was nothing more than a tactical necessity. Yet, as she fended off raiders and solved the children's "puzzles," there was a undeniable spark in her eyes that had nothing to do with her Heat Arts. For a few brief hours, the girl who had been raised from infancy to be the "Strongarm of the Don" was allowed to be exactly what the harsh frontier of Talos-II had stolen from her: a child.
Now, with the children safe and the crystal secured, a heavy silence had returned to the valley. As the sun began to dip behind the jagged peaks, casting a long, amber glow over the industrial landscape, Rossi retreated to a high, rusted ledge of a cooling tower. She sat there alone, the scarlet of her bladed cape catching the dying light, her fingers tracing the edges of a crude medal made of scrap metal—the "highest honor" bestowed upon her by the children she had saved. The Endministrator approached quietly, finding the future Capo of the Pack caught in a rare moment of quiet reflection, the mask of the hardened soldier beginning to slip.
