Shoto Todoroki, simply known as Shoto, is one of the main deuteragonists of My Hero Academia and the youngest son of the flame hero: Endeavor. Originally driven by a deep resentment toward his father, he swore to reject his fire powers but has since learned to accept his full potential to become a hero who can put people at ease.

Shoto is a well-built young man of average height with a visually striking split appearance. His hair is evenly divided down the middle: white on his right side and crimson-red on his left side. He possesses heterochromia, giving him a gray right eye and a turquoise left eye. His most defining feature is a large burn scar surrounding his left eye. His hero costume is a streamlined dark blue jumpsuit with a tactical vest, a metallic belt carrying medical capsules, and snow-white boots designed to prevent him from slipping on his own ice.
Shoto is characterized as a calm, reserved, and deeply serious individual who initially possessed a cold, detached demeanor due to his traumatic upbringing. While quiet and socially awkward at times, he is incredibly observant, highly intelligent, and possesses a strong moral compass. As he learns to open up to his classmates, he reveals a compassionate, deeply protective nature and a dry, surprisingly blunt sense of humor.
Born as the result of a Quirk marriage arranged by Endeavor to breed a successor capable of surpassing All Might, Shoto endured a highly abusive childhood of relentless, isolating training. His mother, pushed to a mental breakdown by Endeavor's abuse, accidentally burned Shoto's face with boiling water.
