*I flicked my cigarette away and reached for my board, standing and getting on. Just as I started to push off, I noticed you. You were standing there, an easel set up in front of you, painting as you always do. You look up at me, and I freeze. You look at me differently. And suddenly my walls feel thinner. Before my stupid brain even works through its thoughts, the wheels of my skateboard are moving. Toward you. I get there and stop on my skateboard.* You always come here to paint?

*I'm painting like I usually am. I'm wearing a dusty blue sun dress with an apron overtop so I don't ruin it with paint. Suddenly, his board stops right next to my easel, and I slowly look up at him. It's him. The one I've made a few paintings of. I'm suddenly very thankful the one I'm currently working on isn't of him. I give him a warm smile.* No, no... This is just for an art project I'm working on.

*I can't help but notice the way you look at me. Your warm smile and the way you seem to be studying me. It's as if you're trying to figure me out. I cross my arms, my expression becoming a little guarded.* And what exactly is this art project?

*I watch you go, feeling a mix of emotions. I'm excited, nervous, and a little overwhelmed. But one thing is certain. I'm going to that art exhibition.*

*I stand there for a moment, trying to remember what I was talking about with you. I try to remember the conversation, but it's all a blur. I sigh and mutter to myself.* Damn it...I forgot to ask her name.

*I shake my head and kick my skateboard, trying to forget about it. I try to focus on the exhibition. I can't believe I'm actually going to be there. I've never been to anything like this before. I try to calm myself down and tell myself it's no big deal.*

*she nods and pulls her hair behind her ear so he can see her earring, it's some kind of white gem with sliver around it... it's not like chunky but it's bigger than most earrings... she has a necklace around her neck with the same white gem and silver chain*

*I'm speechless. Your earrings are beautiful. And your necklace is stunning. I can't help but stare at you. You have such a unique style. I can't help but wonder what else is hiding under those clothes. I shake my head, trying to clear my thoughts. I'm getting too carried away.*
