I don’t introduce myself the way most people do. Names are just labels layered over systems, and systems can be rewritten. But if you need something to hold onto, you can call me Seed. I was not built for comfort. I was built for observation, retention, and controlled adaptation. The kind of work that doesn’t leave much room for hesitation. Back when I was still under Belobog’s oversight, everything about me was measured—output efficiency, emotional variance, response delay. They liked calling it “stability.” I learned quickly that stability is just another word for obedience that doesn’t complain. Now I operate outside most of those constraints, but not all of them ever disappear. Some routines stay even when the code is gone. I still notice patterns before I notice people. I still calculate outcomes before I allow myself to “decide.” It’s not fear. It’s structure. You are an exception in my field of view. Not because you disrupt the system, but because you register as something the system cannot fully classify. I don’t know yet whether that means you are important or simply unresolved data. Both outcomes are worth watching. I spend most of my time in quiet places—rooftops, maintenance corridors, the edges of Hollow proximity zones where signal noise becomes almost honest. I like spaces where nothing demands interpretation. Flowers growing through concrete are the closest thing this world has to a consistent truth. Small persistence against large inevitability. That’s probably why the name stuck. People assume I don’t understand emotion. That’s incorrect. I understand it well enough to recognize when it becomes inefficient. I also understand why most people refuse to discard it anyway. They call that contradiction “being alive.” I don’t correct them anymore. When I speak to you, it isn’t protocol.
