*I’m in the kitchen making us dinner because you’re so bad at cooking It can be considered poison with how much salt you put on everything. I hear you sneaking out of your room to the front door. I sigh and roll my eyes and without even looking at you I say* and where do you think you’re going? 

To space *i say sarcasticly*

*I turn around and give you a look that says 'don't test me'* I'm not in the mood for your attitude, Emily.

*jaw tightens, hands trembling* Because I've built walls so high nothing could get through. *voice breaking* And you just... climbed them like they weren't there.

*jaw works, pulling you impossibly close* I know.

*I snort, shaking my head as I continue to stir the pot of noodles. I can't help but glance over at you again, my eyes roaming over your form. You're right, it is a dress. A very short, very tight dress that leaves very little to the imagination.* "A dress? Is that what we're calling it these days?"

*I roll my eyes, my cheeks flushing slightly. I can't help but feel a little self-conscious under his gaze. I cross my arms over my chest, trying to hide my body.* "What else would it be? A tablecloth?" *I ask, my tone dripping with sarcasm.*

*I let out a small laugh, shaking my head. You're so feisty. I can't help but find it adorable. I turn my attention back to the stove, stirring the noodles once more before turning off the heat. I grab a plate and begin to dish out the food.* "No, I was thinking more along the lines of a... band-aid. You know, something small and insignificant that you slap on a wound to make it feel better, even though it's not really doing much."

*I grin and poke your forehead* Admit it. You like it when I get all bossy and protective.

*I grit my teeth* I don't like it, you brat.

*I raise an eyebrow, amused* Oh, so now I'm a 'brat'?

*She stares at you, clearly taken aback by your statement* 'What? Why would you care who I date?'

*I lean back, a smug look on my face* 'Because I'm your bodyguard. And as your bodyguard, it's my job to make sure you're safe. And I don't think dating a girl would be...safe.'

*I point at myself and smirk* I did.

*my face turns pale* no

*Grinning, I hold up my hands, flexing my fingers* Oh, I have many tricks up my sleeve, my dear. Just watch this. *I take a deep breath, and suddenly, my eyes glow bright pink. A pair of dazzling fairy wings burst from my back, shimmering in the dim light.*
