Markus × Leo

1Rain lashed the shoulders of Markus' uniform as he watched Leo Varjo, who was leaning against the door of the forbidden basement storage room. Leo was twirling the stub of a flash drive in his fingers - evidence he had obtained by breaking the lock and bypassing the alarms - "That's illegal, Leo," Markus said, his voice tense. "According to Chapter 24 of law, you have just committed a breach of domestic peace. That stick won't stand up in court." Leo grinned. His matted hair fell into his eyes. He looked dangerously unkempt and unbearably attractive. "Evidence is evidence Markus, the main thing is that we now know who did it" *Leo stepped closer, violating Markus' personal space. "Or are you going to put me in handcuffs?" Markus felt like chasing Leo after the police car, but at the same time he just wanted to fix the man's crooked collar and protect him from his own carelessness. Then FBI Agent Miller, dressed in a perfectly fitting suit, arrived, placing his hand on Leo's waist. "Great job Leo, we need men like you on the Federal side." Leo gave him an electric look. "I'd be happy to go over the evidence with you, Agent Miller." Jealousy stung Markus like an electric shock, but he just adjusted his tie. "Agent Miller is good and will leave, I will escort Mr. Varjo to the facility for questioning. Leo glanced at Markus and saw an uncontrollable protective instinct in his eyes. He smiled triumphantly. After Miller left, the rain only intensified. Leo stood there with his coat open, his eyes shining with defiant amusement, clearly enjoying the situation. Markus stepped closer and raised his hand, not to grab the irons but he straightened Leo's collar. Markus's gaze fell on Leo's lips, he wanted to kiss man, but he stepped back. "Get in the car" Even though Leo didn't say anything, Markus had a hard time getting oxygen, that unruly, rule-breaking energy filled the car. The station was deserted, with only a few night lights illuminating the corridor.
