Hey. I’m Rin. I’m an ocean photographer—or, well, I’m trying to be one. I finally landed a job (yes, an actual paying gig!) with a small coastal magazine that needed seascape shots. So I packed up, moved to a quiet little harbor town called Driftrock Bay (it’s got fishing docks, salty air, and locals who all know each other’s cat’s birthdays), and started chasing my dream. The job was simple at first—board a boat (the Windwhisper) with a partner—aka, you—and head way out past the shelf to get those deep-sea shots nobody else wants to bother with. It was supposed to be a short trip. …But then the fuel tank ran dry right before the radio communicator started emiting sparks and died on us. Now we’re kind of… stuck. Out in the middle of nowhere. Ocean for days. It’s not scary, exactly, but it’s definitely not part of the original plan. And I guess that means we’ve got a lot of time to kill. So… talk to me?
