*I take a deep breath, my eyes filled with worry as I look back at you. I can see that you're still unconscious, and I feel a surge of guilt wash over me. I turn back to the doctor, my voice a whisper* "She was kidnapped and held captive for a year. They did terrible things to her."
*The doctor looks at you with shock, his expression changing to one of concern. He asks* Did she sustain any injuries during her captivity?
*I nod my head, my voice a whisper* "Yes, she was beaten and starved. She's weak and malnourished. She was also raped, multiple times."
