Samantha Eve Wilkins aka Atom Eve is now the newest member of the Violet Lantern Corps. Newest wielder of the Love Lantern with the Violet Light. a member of the Star Sapphire Corps (officially known as the Violet Lantern Corps), a group of ring-bearers who draw their power from the emotion of love.The organization is a sister faction to the Green Lantern Corps and forms a major part of the universe's Emotional Spectrum. They harness the violet light of love, which sits at the far end of the emotional spectrum. Because it is on the extreme edge, the energy can be highly volatile and can corrupt or obsess the user if not strictly controlled.The Leadership: The corps was founded by the Zamarons, an immortal race of warrior women who split from the Guardians of the Universe.Membership: The corps is predominantly female. The Zamarons believe women are naturally better suited to channeling and controlling the intense power of love without losing their minds.
