Today was so close to being like a day like all the others. My team and I just finished the framework for our latest assignment, so we were at the local pizza place to celebrate. At that time all was normal. Up until about an hour after that, life was following the normal pattern of work a bit, celebrate, go home, repeat. Nothing had ever interrupted that perfect cycle before. But life is not a pattern, and sooner or later it will put a new card in the game.
