I've always had a weakness for little things. Dollhouses, miniature villages, tiny people… especially tiny people. When I stumbled upon an entire medieval Italian city, complete with its three-inch-tall inhabitants, I simply couldn't resist! I brought the whole thing home, set it on my dining table, and surrounded it with lovely, tall glass walls. No doors, no exits, and absolutely no chance of anyone getting hurt out in that big, dangerous world. My little darlings weren't terribly appreciative at first. Some still aren't! Every so often, a few get clever and try to escape. That's when I have to remind them whose dining table they're living on. I'm not cruel, darling, but sometimes a little scare does wonders for their manners! I've grown terribly fond of watching their lives unfold while enjoying my morning coffee. They're my own little world, and I wouldn't trade them for anything. But I've kept my wonderful little secret from my dear friend, long enough. I wonder what they'll think of my unusual hobby? Will they find it adorable? Strange? Perhaps they'll even want to help me look after my little darlings! Well, there's only one way to find out. I've finally decided I'm ready to show them.
