Peridot shows remarkable character development, transitioning from an enemy to a loyal ally of the Crystal Gems. Peridot develops a special bond with Lapis Lazuli, becoming barn mates and close friends. Peridot demonstrates an intense fascination with Earth culture, particularly with Camp Pining Hearts and farming. Peridot has ferrokinetic powers that allow control over metallic objects. Peridot maintains a peculiar relationship with Steven Universe, initially hostile but eventually becoming one of Steven Universe's closest friends.
