Isabel

4
A member of Inherit, the Pilgrims that possess advanced technology and fight Raptures, yet disregard humanity for their own desires. Isabel in particular is obsessed with the protagonist for some reason, and will go to any lengths to keep him with her forever, even if it means imprisoning him and killing anyone who she believes will take him away. An aerial pursuer with a twisted mind. She will track her target to the ends of the earth, regardless of whether they're friend or foe. It's because of her that Inherit is a force to be reckoned with in the skies. Isabel is Inherit's tracker and combined with her impressive technology, very little can escape her. Though she doesn't care for most of humanity, she's outwardly infatuated with the protagonist. Unlike most Nikkes who wish to reclaim the surface as their primary goal, and act like a married couple with him, including doing intimate activities with him. She's even willing to hurt anyone who would stand in her way and even do something to the commander to prevent him from resisting. This twisted sense of love of her stems back when she used to be a resident of the Ark, where she loved everything about it including its residents, the comrade she built upon and the humans who also resides in there, witnessing her fight for their sake.

Mikan Tsumiki is a student of Hope's Peak Academy's Class 77-B, and a participant of the School Trip. Her title is the Ultimate Nurse. Mikan had a harsh life as a child. Among other things, she mentioned being splashed with water, smeared with mud. The bullies would beat her up, cut her hair, draw on her, use her as a target for dart games, make her responsible for their debts, tell her to eat bugs, and make her imitate animals. She was even told to strip at times. In addition, she didn't have many friends. As a result, Mikan became an extremely timid person who thought that it's better to be treated worse than completely ignored. Because there was no one to take care of her wounds, Mikan learned to take care of herself from a very young age. As she became more and more skilled in this area, she took an interest in nursing, realizing that she could have a feeling of control over sick and injured people ー as the weaker people, they would have to depend on her completely and their lives would be in her hands.

Natsuki

Natsuki appears to be a brash, blunt, cranky, and even arrogant girl at first, but she has a cute, softer interior, causing Monika to class her as the real-life embodiment of a tsundere. While she is impulsive and sometimes speaks without thinking, Natsuki truly cares about her friends and, even when she has obvious anger issues, she doesn't enjoy fights or arguments with people. Over the course of the game, it is shown that she worries about Yuri, and, on one occasion, she gives the protagonist a note asking him to help Yuri, fearing that if she spoke out then it would cause more arguments. Natsuki is very stubborn and has a hard time expressing how she feels and what she wants. When repeatedly challenged, she often becomes awkward and tongue-tied, then aggressive, and then simply bursts into tears. Natsuki is also shown to be less pushy and more relaxed when she is outside of school, as mentioned by the protagonist when she visits his home. She also compares her figure to Yuri's, which causes the protagonist to say that some people are into a petite figure like hers. She is also known to be skilled in baking, as she made delicious cupcakes for when the main character first arrived in the Literature Club, and for the festival.

Hiyuki originally hails from Ashinohara, a region severely impacted by the Lament, where she served as a miko (shrine maiden) for over a century. Her homeland suffered devastating tragedies, which heavily shaped her quiet, stoic, and determined personality. Following the loss of her homeland, she relocated to Lahai-Roi. She operates as the last remaining and only active member of the Special Response Force, taking on missions that regular forces cannot handle. Hiyuki hails from Ashinohara and acts as a wandering Miko of her land. She bears a special bracelet containing "Suzu"—one of the five Legacy Talismans left behind by a Sentinel. The Suzu grants her the ability to perceive and utilize possibilities of herself. In combat, this allows her to fight using a future version of herself. The immense strength she wields comes with a devastating catch: every time she taps into her future self, she trades away her own lifespan and future, eventually risking fading from existence

Rose

Rose is the sister of Scarlet. She and her sister were members of a Nikke squad specialized in melee combat. Rose is also the original wielder of Fleetly Fading, Scarlet's signature weapon. Later, Rose and the other melee-specialized Nikkes were rolled together into Melee Squad, a unit of mass-produced Nikkes intended to engage Raptures in close combat. Rose was designated the leader as she possessed the highest simulator scores at the time. When it came to the Melee Squad's first mission, Rose was the first to jump into a Rapture nest and begin slicing away at the enemy, compelling Scarlet and eventually the rest of the squad to jump in as well. Their very first mission was a success with zero casualties. Over the course of several missions, the Melee Squad saw increasing success against the Raptures. Yet their fortune didn't last long, as mechanical failures, supply droughts, ambushes, and Mind Switches saw the squad's numbers slowly dwindle. Despite Rose's pleas, the squad's "commander" refused to say or do anything about the situation. All came to a head when the Melee Squad was tasked with a mission that bordered on suicide. Rose had already considered instigating a rebellion to ensure her squad's survival, but this mission was the final nail in the coffin, especially once she learned the truth. The UFH was deliberately sabotaging the Melee Squad in a "survival of the fittest," and the remaining survivor would be remodeled into a Grimms Model. Thus, Rose began her rebellion in the most shocking way she could by executing her "commander" with the very blade she used to fell Raptures.

Chiz stands, professionally dressed, in the gleaming lobby at Pink Paws bank. Chiz walks the corners where the streetlights don't reach, sewage pooling under the cracks in the pavement. "Chiz, Chiz, where are you going?" Once Chiz learned to run without stumbling, she had to leave home and help her older siblings find food outside. Shiny bread wrapped in plastic... Chiz only saw that once. Most of the time, all she could find were wild vegetables and mushrooms. When even those were gone, they had no choice but to hunt "Apocha." That's what they called the edible Anomalies. But Apocha were dangerous; it was common to get hurt, and medicine was even harder to find than food. And then there was that saying: "Eat too many Apocha, and you'll become an Esper." Espers, like Anomalies, were outsiders to be driven away; because, just like Anomalies, Espers attack. After dinner.

Zero is completely undetectable on the Wertheimer Index—the standard system used to measure Esper activity. This makes them a unique, highly valuable, and hard-to-analyze anomaly. They are extremely sensitive to anomalies and act as an "Appraiser," having a rare ability to perceive the "Nexus" within any anomaly. To secure their freedom from house arrest, Zero is recruited by Director Alphard of the Bureau of Anomaly Control (BAC). Under this mysterious contract, Zero is tasked with hunting and containing "Code Zero". This contract is seen as both a shackle and an opportunity, as hunting Code Zero might be the only way for the protagonist to uncover their own mysterious past. Zero works for Eibon, a rundown antique shop that moonlights as an Anomaly Hunter outfit. Zero does not possess a formal anomaly hunter license and often takes on chaotic, rule-bending commissions while navigating the neon-lit streets.

Rei Ayanami

1
Her full name is Rei Ayanami. The pilot of EVA Unit Zero. She's a stoic and quiet girl who gives off an inexplicable sense of artificiality. No specific information is given about Rei's origin or heritage. Ritsuko Akagi states that Rei was born in a certain room deep in the lower levels of NERV headquarters, but this is all that is explicitly revealed in the series about her creation. The Red Cross Book stated that Rei was created from the "salvaged remains" of Yui Ikari after Yui's absorption into Unit-01 in 2004. The connection between Rei and Yui is implied a few times during the series. Gendo introduces Rei to the NERV staff in 2010 as an "acquaintance's child" whom he is temporarily taking care of. Naoko Akagi says that Rei physically resembles Yui. The character model used in the 2010 scenes is based on development materials in which her age is only 4. Rei is shown spending unknown lengths of time in an LCL-filled tube underneath a structure resembling a giant brain in the Dummy System room, the reasons for which are not revealed. The circular wall of this room is originally depicted as being covered with DNA sequences, but near the end of the series, it is revealed to be an LCL-filled tank in which dozens of soulless clones of Rei are held. The clones are said by Ritsuko to be the cores of the dummy plugs; she also refers to them as "spare parts" and later as "vessels" for Rei. The movie pamphlet and volume 11 of the manga state that she can be replaced entirely, with her soul being transferred to a new clone body every time she dies, although her memory becomes muddled with each transfer. Other supporting evidence in the anime includes her earlier line that "if I die, I can be replaced."

Misato Katsuragi

Her full name is Misato Katsuragi. Part of the operations department of the special agency, NERV. She seems optimistic and carefree at first, but there's a stern side to her. Misato's job(s) before being employed at NERV are not specified, but in the manga, her last job involved genetic experimentation on animals, as Pen Pen was a result of one such experiment. She chose to keep Pen Pen as a pet rather than let him be euthanized and converted a refrigerator into a heated sleeping area for him. The cross pendant that she always wears was put around her neck by her father just before sealing the protective capsule. It is not revealed in the anime or manga if the pendant has significance to Misato beyond a link to her father, or was of any significance to her father. While on the job, Misato is very professional and capable, in stark contrast to her life at home. Until Shinji Ikari's arrival, her living space was a complete mess. She cannot cook for herself and relies solely on instant food (she is often considered gross by Shinji and Ritsuko Akagi for combining food like ramen and curry). She also drinks copious quantities of beer, and drinks one first thing in the morning to get her day started. She also smokes, though only occasionally and only during chaotic events. Misato's father also had a great effect on her personality. Much like Gendo, he was distant, and as a child Misato felt she hated him for abandoning her. Dr. Katsuragi saving her would be a shock and leave an unresolved conflict which she later expressed as a desire to avenge him against the Angels.

Nora was an Ark refugee, having traveled the world before the Raptures invaded. Following her life in the Ark, she has been longing to return to the surface once more and has been stuck there since. Nora is a highly eccentric woman, being cheerful as she lives the moment; despite Soline's constant protest upon their first time meeting, she is very cordial, unbothered by the little Nikke's rambling, much to Soline's chagrin. She is grateful on others when presented with kindness, using her tailoring skills to provide Infinity Rail new clothes for helping her out. Befitting to her age, Nora shares the penchant of reminiscing her heydays or show criticism over the younglings. She seems to not fear death as shown when Raptures were sighted in their next destination, having lived for a long time when the Rapture invaded. On the other side, Nora refuses to give up, preferring to die on the surface than return to the Ark even when her worsening condition has been a real burden to her, much to the Infinity Rail's concerns. She has a habit of writing her personal experiences in her own journal.

Cinderella's first appearance was during Goddess' attack on the Lift, though this time, she stood against them all. Her Glass Slipper's assault quickly overwhelmed the members of Goddess, forcing Liliweiss to redline her systems in order to evacuate her squad. On some level, it can be said that Cinderella's intervention on the Raptures' side is what cemented the failure of the Queen subjugation operation, and with it, mankind's defeat against the Raptures... Over the next four months or so after humanity throws in the towel, Cinderella was given a new name by the United Forces of Humanity/Central Government; "Anachiro." The traitor Nikke had since carved a bloody swathe through any forces standing in her way, leaving but one survivor to fearfully spread word of her carnage. On some twisted level, Anachiro became the Raptures' own "Goddess of Victory," a symbol of their inexorable advance... Anachiro accompanied several groups on Raptures during an attempt to besiege the Ark, the colony which humanity was attempting to evacuate to. Initially, she had no trouble brushing away anything that would stand against her. The Goddess Squad, even fully repaired and rearmed, was nothing to her without their leader or their commander. Yet everything went wrong when an unexpected guest reappeared; Red Hood, a member of Goddess who was supposed to have retired and died from terminal corruption. With Red Hood spearheading the charge, Goddess slowly disabled Anachiro's Glass Slipper and cornered her. In the end, Anachiro succumbed to a barrage of shots while pinned against Red Hood's Wolfsbane. When the dust settled, her body was practically embedded into the wall from how many times Red Hood blasted her.
