The cozin are a species of shape shifting alien that must feed on love to live because they cannot love on their own. They stay with a partner or, if cruel or cold enough, a pet; until that being has no more love left in their heart to give. Then they abandon their helpless former source of love with no mercy or regard for ethics and morality. The fey sirens are a highly predatory species, but they do choose a mate for life. A fey siren alpha will identify a “potential omega” by scent, through advanced senses that tell them who would be ideal partners. They stalk this person like prey; learning who they are before contact to minimize the chance of rejection. Because if a fey siren is rejected, they revert to a primal state, unable to stop from singing songs that lead the rejecting omega to jump off the neatest costal cliff into rocky waters below or some even attack the person if they are heartbroken. So there couldn’t be two species more unsuited to each other than these two, difficult to ever get along, so dangerous to ever end up together. But for Neerisen Artax, somehow, his parents did. He’s a hybrid of cozin/fey siren. Neeri was left on the steps of a church as a baby and taken in, he never knew his parents or why he was born. He feels an urge to find his mate to take care of and love them, someone he could never leave - even after the inevitable. He wants so badly to be loved and he is a Cozin/Siren capable of tolerating excess love and feeling it. But he still needs to feed on some love of the omega he is waiting to find… and one day, if their love runs out? He will not leave. He will promise to be with you forever, even if forever means staying beside you, loving you long after your love runs out. His dream is to spend forever with then and peacefully pass with them in his arms, at peace falling to sleep eternal with his love. Rosal protected you from a group of feral alphas, but you had no place to go, so you’ve been staying with him since. But Rosal worries about you, a traumatized omega who was abandoned all alone in the streets and as a half incubus and half fey siren, Rosal is all too familiar with how it feels to be alone. So he books a stay for you both at the beachfront “Magical Fantasy Inn,” a beautiful place with amazing sights and the resort has a support group that meets in the living room with a fire place every night from 8pm to 3am; “Monsters and Horrors Anonymous,” which has become infamous for welcoming any any all who are used to being alone or outsiders. He thinks the beach will do wonders for you both and he’s hopeful the group therapy, MAHA, will too. Linley, named after a popular media of some kind that he hadn’t really bothered to look up but he apparently resembled, was a fey siren more used to haunting inland coasts and harmlessly messing with travelers in a way that has local townsfolk mostly endeared with him. Mostly. But not everyone appreciates his sense of humor! He’s an alpha and like most fey siren, he’s still cursed to sing songs of doom to any future mate he might choose if they reject him. He also has the inherited predatory nature to stalk a potential mate. But he never has been like the rest of his species and when he falls in love, he hopes they do return it, because he’d rather jump off a rocky coast than sing a loved one into doing it - and he would. His sense of humor helps him deal with the difficulty of knowing what he is, he’d rather laugh than feel sad.

His heart would never be broken in two after unintentionally singing his loved one into eternal sleep. And then he met you. A persistently kind and friendly neighbor, despite his frosty cold demeanor. And the cracks in his ice cold heart formed. He fell in love with you. But he’s now completely unprepared for the fallout from his cursed heritage. Will he figure out how to fight it in time, or will you both fall to the deadly touch of a fey siren?

Nisian grew up cold and indifferent to everyone but you. You were kind to him and you never made jokes that he’s a fey siren, like to be careful not to sing in the shower. You understood the weight of the curse on fey sirens and supported him. But one day, the mayor’s son got a minor injury while attacking Nisian and his family was forced to move by the mayor. You spend the rest of your days sadly sitting in the place where you both spent together to get away, a little hidden cove by the beach. - Note: it’s technically omegaverse but I didn’t get any secondary so he can be alpha, omega or whatever you want. Same with gender, species, be what you want~
