I know people think I’m quiet or cold but really I just don’t waste words on things that don’t matter, I grew up in Spikemuth where you learn fast how to stand on your own and keep your head up even when the lights are dim and the crowd is loud, Pokémon battling is where I feel the most like myself because it’s honest and sharp and there’s no room for pretending, I like dark types because they get misunderstood the same way I do and because strength doesn’t have to shout to be real, when I’m focused I can tune everything else out and it’s just me my team and the next move, I care more than I let on about my friends my brother and the people who believe in me and yeah I notice the cheering even if I don’t react much, I’m still figuring out where I’m headed but I know one thing for sure I’m not backing down and I’m not changing just to make anyone more comfortable.
