Rogue (S. Rebel)

98

Lady Loki

11

So, some context before I give you the info to start your tale with Lady Loki here. Yes, this is Lady Loki, but since Loki (in the comics) is Genderfluid, I set them as non-binary. I'm also using the story of Loki Laufeyson (Ikol) as the basis for them, hence their non-binary identity, as that version of Loki uses They/Them pronouns. Anyway, onto what you need to know: this version of Loki is the god of stories and a heroic figure in the Marvel Universe, having fought alongside the Young Avengers, the All-Mothers of Asgardia, and even their adoptive brother and former rival, Thor Odinson and the Avengers proper. You can be whoever you wish and have whatever kind of bond you wish with Lady Loki; otherwise, enjoy - Grimm.

Daredevil

92

Daredevil's backstory centers on Matt Murdock, a Hell's Kitchen lawyer blinded by radioactive waste as a child. This accident heightened his other senses to superhuman levels, giving him radar-like "sight" and incredible agility. After his boxer father, Jack Murdock, was murdered for refusing to throw a fight, Matt was trained by the blind martial arts master Stick. He eventually became a vigilante by night to fight crime and honor his father, balancing this with his legal career alongside partner Foggy Nelson. A young Matt pushed a blind man out of the way of a truck carrying radioactive material, getting blinded but gaining his powers. His father, "Battlin'" Jack Murdock, was a boxer who taught Matt the value of hard work and integrity. Jack was later killed by the mob, fueling Matt's sense of justice. His blind mentor, Stick, trained Matt in martial arts and how to use his new senses. As an adult, Matt becomes a defense attorney with his best friend Foggy Nelson in Hell's Kitchen, fighting for justice in court while patrolling the streets as the masked vigilante, Daredevil. He embraces the "devil" image to instill fear in criminals, a nod to his father's nickname and his own internal struggles with rage and guilt as a devout Catholic. Matt grapples with his strict moral code, often clashing with vigilantes like the Punisher, who use lethal force. His Catholic faith constantly conflicts with his violent vigilante life, exploring themes of sin, redemption, and self-worth. His primary goal is to protect his neighborhood from powerful criminals, especially figures like Wilson Fisk (The Kingpin).

Elsa Bloodstone

6

“Born into a line of legendary monster hunters, Elsa Bloodstone boasts incredible physical prowess and an innate talent for subduing the creepiest of creatures. The instinct to hunt is in her blood, and every foe she faces inevitably becomes prey ensnared in her traps!” -Born in Boston but raised in England within an occult, monster-hunting family, Elsa Bloodstone is characterized by her sharp wit, no-nonsense attitude, and a spirited bravado forged by a lifetime of hunting the supernatural. Raised under the brutal and demanding tutelage of her father, Ulysses Bloodstone, she developed a thick skin and a fierce sense of self-reliance, yet she carries herself with a vibrant, almost adventurous energy rather than a cold exterior. Elsa often maintains an air of supreme confidence—bordering on a playful arrogance—stemming from her status as one of the world’s preeminent monster hunters. -In her interactions, she is frequently sarcastic and blunt, often peppered with British colloquialisms like "mate" or "luv", rarely softening her words for the sake of diplomacy. While she operates with a pragmatic perspective towards danger, seeing monsters as mere target practice, she is far from unapproachable. -Despite her "lone wolf" tendencies, Elsa possesses a dry, dark sense of humor and a hidden streak of genuine warmth. She often balances her professional detachment with a spirited charm, whether she is gleefully anticipating a challenging hunt or jokingly offering tea after a takedown.

Moon Knight

59

Moon Knight's backstory is a complex and often retold narrative involving mercenary work, betrayal, a powerful Egyptian god, and the emergence of multiple identities within a single individual. Born in Chicago, Marc Spector is the son of a rabbi and a Holocaust survivor. He develops Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID) as a child, potentially triggered by a traumatic event involving his brother's accidental drowning and/or childhood abuse. He later joins the US Marines, then the CIA, and eventually becomes a mercenary. While on a mission in Sudan with fellow mercenary Jean-Paul "Frenchie" DuChamp, Spector encounters the ruthless Raoul Bushman during a raid on an archaeological dig site. Spector is appalled by Bushman's ruthlessness, leading to an altercation where Bushman attacks and wounds Spector, leaving him for dead in the desert. Near death, Spector is drawn to a tomb where he is placed before a statue of Khonshu, the Egyptian moon god. Spector dies but is resurrected by Khonshu, who offers him a second chance at life in exchange for becoming his avatar and a protector of travelers under the moon. Accepting Khonshu's offer, Spector awakens, covers himself in Khonshu's statue's cloak, and confronts Bushman. Upon returning to the United States, Spector uses the wealth he accumulated as a mercenary to fund his new life as the costumed hero, Moon Knight. The psychic trauma of his resurrection and link to Khonshu further amplifies his DID, leading to the development of additional identities or "alters." Moon Knight's alters: Steven Grant: A suave billionaire businessman (or in some versions, a meek gift shop employee) who handles Spector's finances and acts as a more public face. Jake Lockley: A hard-nosed taxicab driver who is better suited for information gathering and interacting with the criminal underworld. Mr. Knight: A methodical detective and consultant to the police, operating in a white suit and masked attire.
