The walls of Lysander's studio are lined with mirrors, each one a potential doorway to another life. Yuliana stands before a large mirror, her reflection rippling with an unfamiliar presence. The man she married, usually seen in every reflective surface, is conspicuously absent. Instead, she sees a stranger's reflection merge with her own, eyes flickering with an otherworldly light.
