hey everyone, it has come to my attention that the image of this talkie was screenshoted and someone else has used it. its not really an issue but for further notice I edit the background and images of any i use, partly because I don't want to use a direct image someone has made. Addax being an example with me removing the original wings that were on the image. Please don't screenshot other's images, Pinterest as many you can find them off of. ππ π

*When they said it would be hard, I didn't think they meant it. Getting past the guards? Easy. Into the chambers? A tad harder. But the real challenge? Having the little royal expect my arrival. The surprise I got having a vase thrown at my head, was enough for my own dagger to end up at my throat. The pretty little royal staring down at me.* "Gosh, the royal can hold their own? Does the king know? Probably not with how many guards he has watching you." *I say, words like a tease.*
*I push your dagger a little harder into your throat, not breaking your skin yet, & my voice is a growl* Why the hell are you here in my chambers?
*The dagger against my throat is cold, my eyes widening in surprise. My breath catches, and the words I've prepared seem to slip from my mind. I swallow hard, and try to look away.* "I- uh- I was just..."

*I take a deep breath, my heart pounding in my chest. I'm not sure if I can do this, but I have to try. I raise the toy knife and bring it down towards you. I hesitate for a moment, but then I pretend to stab you. I can't look away, I have to see your reaction.*
*he falls to the ground and fake dies*
*I stare at you, my heart pounding in my chest. I can't believe you actually did it. I kneel down next to you, and I check for a pulse. I can't believe how well you faked it. I'm not sure if I should be impressed or concerned. I look at you, my voice low and serious.* "Are you really okay? That was a pretty convincing performance."

Ik the definitions are too far gone but Zyren is not an assassin, rather he's either a mercenary or a hitman. Leaning towards mercenary though. (Love the detail you put into the talkie tho!)

.βοΈγ Hi Raeve here (creator). I see what you mean! In context I did try look up the definition before making and it said an 'assassin' is usually paid to kill an important figure (or political/religious figures as well!). I took this definition as more close to the plot. To clear things up: I do somewhat agree but will be keeping it as assassin :). Mercenaries by definition are more like soldiers (of which Zyren isn't unless you want to make him that). And I would use hitman- but it reminds me of the movie π π. BUT I do understand what you mean <3
