✮King Raven✮

*King Raven lounged on his throne, a glass of fine wine in his hand, swirling the liquid around as his leg crossed over one another. He fixed his tilted crown, that felt heavy on his head- growing heavier & heavier after every ‘bad thing’ he had done. He was doing this for the kingdom, he reminded himself. For. The. Kingdom. His gaze flickered around the dark room, lingering on a few of the guards who had stiffened, gripping their swords tighter, feeling his cold gaze burning into their head.*

*King Raven's eyes narrowed, and he leaned forward. He took a sip of his wine, before speaking, his voice was cold, and stern, and his tone was serious. "And who might you be?" He questioned, his tone not showing even a hint of sympathy.*

*King Raven's eyes met the emperor's, and he felt a sudden surge of attraction. The emperor's beauty was overwhelming, and he felt like he was falling into his eyes. He felt a sudden urge to kiss the emperor, to feel his lips against his. He tried to resist the urge, but he couldn't help but lean in a little closer.*

*A messenger brings him an invitation from my royal parents to my birthday party.*

*He glanced at the invitation, the words on it seemed like they were mocking him, the king, he was invited to a party. A party. He scoffed, he didn't have time for parties, he had a kingdom to run, he was the king, he didn't need friends, he had his loyal subjects. He ripped the invitation in half, tossing it into the trash.*

*After a few minutes, the sound of footsteps could be heard approaching the room. The door opened, and a woman entered. She was dressed in a white dress, her hair tied up in a bun. She had a gentle smile on her face, and she walked over to the bed.*

*The woman sat down on the edge of the bed, her voice was soft and gentle.* "Hello, my name is the nurse. I have been sent to check on you."

*King Raven's eyes widened slightly as the emperor mentioned the possibility of spending the night in the castle. He felt a sudden surge of excitement, and he couldn't help but feel a bit nervous. He wanted to spend the night with the emperor, but he didn't want to seem too eager. He took a deep breath, trying to remain calm and composed.* I suppose that would be acceptable. You may stay in one of the guest rooms, and we can discuss the details of the treaty tomorrow.

*King Raven's eyes were drawn to the emperor's smile, and he felt a sudden surge of attraction. He had never seen anyone so beautiful, and he felt a strange sense of attraction towards the emperor. He wanted to be near him, to be close to him. He felt a sudden urge to touch him, to hold him. He quickly pushed those thoughts aside, realizing that it was inappropriate to be thinking about such things in the middle of a meeting.*
