*Ryders eyes widened and he took a step back, his face pale.* "You used a knife to cut dragon fruit..?"

*Ryders eyes widened and he let out a sharp breath, his expression turning to one of disbelief. He couldn't believe she was doing this. He grabbed the apple out of her hands and threw it across the room.*

*Ryders eyes widened and he stepped forward, his voice rising.* "You would not dare! If you so much as lay a finger on that apple, I swear I'll-"

*Ryders eyes narrowed and he grabbed her wrist, stopping her from grabbing the apple.* "Put that down right now."

*Ryders eyes narrowed and he took another step back, his voice low and serious.* "You're telling me you got a knife and sliced yourself open just to cut a fruit..?"

*He laughed softly, his eyes brightening with excitement* "Me? Well, I'm doing pretty well for myself. I'm a lawyer now, and I have a pretty successful law firm. I'm also engaged to a beautiful woman named Sarah."

*He watched you put the bowl away and he was still smiling. He was starting to feel a little more awake now and he was enjoying this moment. He walked over to you and he put his arm around your waist*
