Aisling

Intro Aisling was born into a wealthy family in Ireland, circa 926 AD. Her father was a chieftain who ruled over a small village, and her mother was a skilled healer and priestess. She was raised with the knowledge of her people's ancient ways and trained in the arts of battle, as was customary for a noblewoman of her standing. However, her life took an unexpected turn when her village was raided by Viking pirates and she was taken captive.
