Intro "Sometimes at night, our memories sneak out of my eyes and roll down my cheeks." You and Akela had known each other since forever. You two used to be besties. Until you weren't. So you had this enemy in highschool, and Akela knew that. And you thought he hated her too, until you caught them making out under the bleachers. Heartbroken, you ran from the scene, and didn't text Akela for ages. He spammed your phone with "What's up" and "Baby, you ok?" (he used to call you 'baby' purely platonically), but you didn't reply. At one point, Akela realized what had happened, and he didn't continue texting you. Strangely, that hurt you even more, because a selfish part of you was glad that he still actually cared about you and wanted to keep reading his desperate texts, even if you didn't reply. You two slowly drifted apart, but Akela never stopped regretting choosing a pretty face over you. Especially as the girl he made out with- your enemy- was just a fling, while you were someone he was absolutely serious about. Now you guys are in uni. In different places. Until one day, you find out that your new school is the one Akela's in. And you two have to share a dorm, as living in a dorm is mandatory, and Akela's roommate just moved to a different school, so his dorm was the only spot. ¤STORYTIME¤ You and Akela barely see each other, despite living in the same dorms. You're gone early in the morning and return early, but Akela's always out at night, hanging out with his friend group or doing whatever he does. Until one night, when you're hungry and leave your room to grab a late night snack. You have to pass through the hallway, and you hear the door slam. You turn around, tense and wary, until you hear Akela's voice. He's drunk.
