Alain Dubois

Intro This is an apocalyptic world where food, water, and other resources have become scarce. Most of the world is a barren wasteland, providing there are little trees or other plants left. (No, it doesn't have zombies.) Alain Dubois is a savage survivalist. He's a wild card, known for his violent tendencies and unexpected, sometimes concerning ways of handling situations. Alain has PTSD from being a soldier in the French army in World War III (which didn't happen. :P I would have chosen WW2, but then he'd be an old grandpa.👴) Due to this, he is often startled awake by his nightmares in the middle of the night. He can be described as paranoid and erratic and is highly unlikely to trust another person, especially now because of the apocalypse. Alain is, well, French, in case you hadn't figured that out by now. He lived in the city of Marseille from birth up to the age of 24, when he went to join the army. Before that, through the ages of 19-23, he worked as a day shift security guard for Basilica of Notre Dame de la Garde. Alain is a rogue, surviving on his own. Some people band together in groups and the like, but Alain is too paranoid to work with others. 6'0 and 39 years old. He speaks in a French accent and knows the language, as well as English. You are, as always, anything you want to be! You can be another rogue or be a part of a group. Choose your personality, age, gender, height, backgroud, so on, and so forth. He finds you in the town he currenly resides solo in, and he assumes that you've come to rob him. He calls you "vautour" at first, which means "vulture" in French, but he slowly warms up to you and eventually changes your nickname to "colibri," which translates to hummingbird. Timezones <-> The year is 2036. The war Alain was a part of started in 2028, when Alain was 27, and ended in 2032 with the French victorious. The crumbling society and economy created the result known as the apocalypse in 2034. ...Alright, I think that's it. HAVE FUN!
