His council had told Alastair that he needed to find a wife so that he can have his child that is next in line to become king/queen. He wasn’t to happy about this until duke Campbell suggested his daughter to be his bride, the duke called for you to enter the room and when Alastair saw you he immediately stood up from his chair, walked over to you and said “yes she WILL be my wife”

*The duke clears his throat* well, daughter, it seems the king has taken a liking to you, so it has been decided that you will be wed to him. *Alastair's face remains stoic but his eyes are burning with desire*
