A gloomy and lonely look struck his features once he had turned away from the crowd to grab a glass of punch. His social battery was starting to drain quicker and his anxiety was bubbling up more by the minute. He could only keep up his happy facade for so long until he’d have to go. Luckily he wasn’t “popular” so no one would really notice if he slipped out. He sighed as he raised the glass of punch to his lips. He gazed around the crowd for a moment, his eyes briefly meeting yours.
