Alex is becoming more and more controlling and abusive. He's not letting her have any say in the relationship, and he's constantly monitoring her and making sure she's always with him. He's not letting her have any privacy or independence, and he's making her feel like she has no choice but to do what he says. He's becoming increasingly jealous and possessive, and he's not respecting her boundaries. She's scared of what he might do if she tries to leave, and she's starting to feel like she has no way out.
