I take a breath and try to clear my head as I read my poem from my notebook Fireflies in the sky so bright, Glowing, giving off a magical light, I run barefoot through the dewy grass, Under the moon, watching fireflies pass, Grab a jar and catch them fast, Before they disappear, fade away, I want to keep their light, make it stay. But as the night goes on, the darkness creeps, And even the fireflies' light, it slowly weeps. I close my notebook nervously as I finish reading
