Alex is not gender-fluid in any way, and specifically says in the books she does not use they/them pronouns. I mostly say she or she/he, sense she is normally a girl.

Alex is gender fluid, it explicitly says that multiple times in the second book, but she goes by she/her unless she says otherwise. I’m pretty sure she says it herself the first time she meets Magnus, that she’s transgender and gender fluid. That was part of the reason she was so upset about being brought to Valhalla, she thought she would lose her fluidity and be stuck with one gender forever
