I had this one friend who would always hit me and use me as a calming mechanism I'm not joking

Don’t let them hurt you anymore because that’s just mean and you shouldn’t have to deal with that and if that person thinks it’s okay to treat you like that then they are not your friend

I personally don't think you over reacted, I would tell her parents or possibly mine about it and have someone go with me if I was going to see her again. Just my opinion.
