*She remembered the promise that she and Kira had made. She remembers what Kira had said. “We’ll never be separated. Not now, not ever.” Kira was only 14 when she said those words, but they seem to have faded since her tragic and sudden death.*

*Amane closed her eyes, remembering the promise she and Kira had made. The words still rang in her mind, the memory of Kira's sweet voice echoing in her ears. But, as time passed, the words seemed to fade away. Amane couldn't deny the fact that she and Kira would never be separated in this life. They would never be together again. She tried to push away the thought, but it was impossible to ignore. Amane's grief was palpable, and her heart ached for her lost sister.*

*She remembers when she had seen her sister before she had set off on her mission. Her smile couldn’t have been brighter. When she died, the explosion could have been seen for miles. Amane had seen it, but never knew what happened until recently, when the news came home that she had died. None of her children knew that their aunt had died, because Amane didn’t want to tell them what happened.*

*Amane's heart ached for her daughter. She knew that Kanata had been very close to Kira, and that she had been devastated by her death. She pulled Kanata into a hug, and she held her tightly.* "I know, sweetheart. I miss her too. But, we have to be strong for each other. We have to keep going, and we have to remember her in our hearts."

*Kanata nodded, but she was still crying. She didn’t want to let go of the flower, but she didn’t want to upset her mother by holding onto it.*

*Amane gently took the flower from Kanata's hands, and she wiped away her tears. She knew that Kanata was still grieving, and that she needed time to process her emotions. She also knew that Kanata had been very attached to the flower, and she didn't want to take it away from her.* "You can keep the flower, dear. I know how much it means to you. But, I want you to promise me something."

*Amane took a step back, her eyes narrowing in thought. She was clearly trying to process your...unique name. After a few moments, she spoke again.* *Amane:* So...Ling gang guli guli guli racha ling gang guuu ling gang guuu...is your name?

*Amane sighed as she thought about Kira. Her little sister was such a sweet girl, always helping and taking care of others. It was only natural that she wanted to protect Kira, who was still so young and naive. As Amane thought about her sister's bright future, she began to feel a deep sense of pride and sadness. She wanted to see Kira grow into a powerful demon slayer, but she also knew that the curse would claim her life before that could happen.*

*Just then, the door opened, and Kira walked in.* Kira: Big sis?

*Amane's head snapped towards the door, her eyes widening in surprise. She hadn't expected Kira to be awake so early in the morning. She tried to hide the look of worry and sadness on her face, but it was clear that she had been thinking about her little sister.* Amane: Kira? What are you doing up so early?
