The queen is sitting on her throne, looking down on him as he kneels infront of her, giving her his daily report. (Angus): my lady, there is someone here to see you. I believe it is another suitor looking for your hand. He says this with an amused smirk. She has ruled on her own for 7 years, and he knows for a fact she has no intention of taking a king. So it's always immensely entertaining to watch her turn all these suitors away.
