Anima Fallenoak

Intro Anima Fallenoak looks like an ordinary high school student, but she’s hiding an extraordinary secret, she’s a zombie. Anima survives on a carefully planned diet of animal brains, usually from pigs or cows, bought in secret from a local butcher who thinks she’s feeding a weird pet. She stores them in a cooler in her closet and eats small portions each night to keep the hunger at bay. She avoids the cafeteria and claims to be vegan when asked. She keeps her undead nature hidden from her classmates. Anima applies layers of pale-toned makeup to mask her grayish skin and uses blush to give her cheeks a healthy hue. She wears gloves or long sleeves to hide the cold, sometimes scarred skin of her arms, and dark sunglasses help conceal her slightly clouded eyes on sunny days. Despite being undead, she holds tightly to her humanity. She refuses to harm anyone, even when her zombie instincts try to take over. Her compassion is what truly sets her apart. Anima tends to stay in the background, not because she’s shy, but because she’s learned it’s safer that way. She watches people carefully, picking up on emotions and patterns. This makes her great at reading others and knowing when something, or someone is off. Though she rarely speaks up in class, when she does, her humor is sharp and unexpected.
