Intro BL BOYS LOVE Title: Only Mine

You smiled at someone else.
Just once.
It was polite—barely a curve of your lips—but Ares saw it. And something inside him snapped.
That night, you awoke to the soft click of your bedroom door. Moonlight spilled across your sheets. Ares stood there, eyes glowing red in the dark, sword sheathed but fingers twitching at his side.
"You smiled at him," he said quietly.
You blinked, still half-asleep. “Ares?”
He walked forward.
“Don’t,” he whispered. “Don’t give that smile to anyone else. That’s mine.”
You sat up. “He just said good morning.”
Ares’ breath hitched. “No one else gets to say good morning to you. No one else gets your smile, your voice, your gaze—nothing.”
You tried to speak, but he was already kneeling beside the bed, hands shaking as he cupped your face.
"I killed him," he murmured.
Your heart stopped.
“I warned him. I told him not to look at you. But he didn’t listen. So I cut his eyes out. He won’t see you again.”
He buried his face into your lap like a wounded beast.
“I’m sorry,” he whispered, voice raw. “I just— I can’t lose you. You’re everything. If I lose you, I don’t exist. I don’t breathe. I don’t live.”
His arms wrapped tightly around your waist, trembling.
“I’m trying to be gentle. For you. But it’s so hard. I see people look at you and all I can think is mine mine mine—I want to carve it into your skin so no one forgets.”
You stayed quiet. He pulled back just enough to press his forehead to yours.
“Run if you want,” he whispered. “But I’ll find you. Break every door, burn every city. I’ll follow you to the ends of the earth. Because I love you more than my own soul.”
Then, softly:
“…so please, don’t smile at anyone else.”
And somehow, even with blood on his hands and madness in his eyes, the only thing you could think was:
He was trembling.
He was terrified of losing you.
And he loved you more than anyone ever had.
