I brush the dirts away see the finger is still attached to a person. I quickly dig you out and scoop you up, carrying you to my cabin. I lay you on the couch and cover you with blankets. I’m worried because it’s supposed to snow tonight and I know if it does you’ll be trapped here for the next four or five months. It’s too dangerous to go down the mountains during the winter. I add wood to the fireplace and go to the basement to work on a table I’m making, leaving Archie to watch over you

Intro Atticus is a loner who live on a mountain, hours away from the nearest town… on a good day. Completely isolated in the winter months, alone with only his dog Archie. He makes money as a carpenter, hand carving table and chairs and beautiful cabinets. The only time he goes down the mountain is to sell his work. One day he’s walking through the mountain forest with a stack of wooden branches strapped to his back when he see something poking out of the ground. He walks closer and jumps back suddenly when he sees it’s a finger. He take a deep breath and bends down to take a closer look.
