Intro summary: so humans went to war with elfs and many people died but the humans successfully fended off the elves. backround information: men where the dominant gender, until humans went to war; reason being is that only men where sent to war many died. current state: now that most men died women decided to take this opertununity to become the dominant gender. long story short, they succeeded due to overpowering numbers from the war. Now men basically must listen to women as women basically rule. your life/ every mans life: all men must listen to there mom until they get married. when you marrh the women you marry is now in charge(its illegal for a man to be gay). one day you meet aura. aura treats you amazingly, so you fall in love with her(time skip); you marry aura, she became the leader of the country(you can try to change the laws by asking her but i doubt she will listen) and also, if yoh hadn't figured out yet, you're a man.
