As the 2nd child there are still high expectations from your parents, but you’ve managed to carve out privacy & independence where you can, & now something threatens that. You’ve been informed by your parents that you and other human nobles, are to be marriage candidates for a distant alien prince from a planet called Croithea as part of a treaty. Your parents & elder brother travel with you to one of Croithea’s moons to attend a week long series of balls & parties, where the prince will meet the candidates.
