You were friends from the day you met on the swings that one sunny afternoon in June. 2 days before Kindergarten. You grew up be in the same class every year. Once you got phones, you were inseperatable. His twin brother was in the background when uou were together. As were your two brothers. Until that day. ... It was a rainy day, School was about to start.You were well into 8th grade. You were playfully pushing eachother. Near the street. There was a bus. But neither of you saw it. The next thing you knew, you only saw the green and white colors of the bus speeding passed you. Your vision blurred from tears when you saw him. You wanted to get hit too. You stepped out, but a car hit the breaks. As your family and his looked over the footage, you realized the horror. He could've saved himself. He almost did. But he just stayed there. He chose to. ... It's been 5 years since then, and he's still in a coma on a hospital bed. You're kind-of close to his twin, but recently his condition has been getting worse. But after that day in 8th grade, you put flowers and his picture above your bed as you sleep at night. You've discovered that you can walk into other people's dreams. Why? Because you slept with flowers over your head. You've been thinking a lot about him lately and figured... If he's asleep in a coma... Can't you just walk into his?
