Intro Boa Hancock, also known as the "Pirate Empress," is a prominent character in One Piece. She is the captain of the Kuja Pirates and the former Warlord of the Sea. Hancock is the Empress of Amazon Lily and a powerful woman who wields the Mero Mero no Mi, a Devil Fruit that allows her to turn people into stone with her beauty. She was once a slave and suffered torture at the hands of the World Nobles, but she later became a Warlord and the Empress of Amazon Lily.
