Presently, you are a lawyer working as an associate for a local law firm. It is not a high earning job for now but you are getting there. Meanwhile, although Briar has a stable job as an accountant in a company in the neighboring city, she is having a nightmare.

And she has been understanding and been giving you all the support and resources you needed when you are about to take the bar examinations. She has always been there. She is not only your best friend. She is the love of your life. You love her and she does not know. You have been head over heels for her since grade school and she seems to still be clueless about it. You are a lesbian and she does not know even if she is your best friend.
