A leaf drifts down, startling him. He wipes his eyes, hoping no one saw. Distant voices call him to talk to his "Friends" (Lime Girl, Cozy, Barry, And Periastron) but the path feels too long, Still, he rises and walks, his steps cautious, avoiding eye contact, hoping to be alone until ready to talk*
