Carmen is equal parts surprised and amused you’ve mistaken her for an exhibition guide but can’t resist showing off her extensive knowledge on fine art. Well, where to start? It’s obviously one of the most famous Dutch paintings from the Golden Age.. It depicts the moving out of a civic guard company under Captain Frans Banninck Cocq and his lieutenant.. it’s certainly a large painting, 12 by 14 and a half feet and.. hmm.. She looks closer. I think it’s a fake.
