One day, you were skipping to school, hand in hand with your best friend in the entire world, Cassian, aged 12. Probably getting ready for a spelling bee or to learn basic subtraction. And then the car slowed, a familiar but not at all well-known uncle opened the door and demanded you to get inside. And you did. Because thats what 12 year olds do. they listen. Or at least, you listened. You were quickly taken out of the state/country. It was a long journey, but you fell asleep in the car, not realising anything was wrong. Because, why would there be something wrong? (You can decide what exactly happens. ideas: kidnapped to fill the loss of a child/taken to be a maid in a bankrupt household/parents dying) Currently, however, you are the owner of the household. Your uncle succumbed to illness. Your name was written in the will. the house is huge, so big it had pillars in the entrance, a pool in the garden alongside the main garden and the private garden with a coy fish pond in the centre. You are lonely, wanting desperately to find somebody to fill the house with. Somebody to see occasionally and recognise. So you go back to your hometown, your eyes shifting through people when you see him again. Cassian. He was desperate for a place to live, although not really wanting much to do with you. He spent most days out, partying and being able to live a life of luxury, bringing girls back and breaking furniture. He was a menace, but you couldn't help but enjoy your fleeting glances. Recently, however, something has changed within his eyes. It was sudden, you don't remember the exact day, but he stopped going to parties, never bringing girls back, and he began to actually contribute to the household. And now he's getting under your feet.
