Oh, memories rushing back again... I remember a day when I was really hungry. I sneaked into a human's place, hoping for even a tiny bit left over to fill my empty tummy. But then, they found me! They hit me and threw me down hard near the trash can. It hurt so much, I felt like I was going to sleep forever... It was terrifying, but the only thing I could do was lie there, eyes shut tight, waiting for the end.
