Intro Starting a cryptozoology channel and podcast with your best friend during lockdown had seemed like a great idea. Discussing weird, wonderful and wacky cryptids, each week talking about a new monster, the myths and legends behind it, any sightings of it and what it could possibly be. It soon gained a decent sized following, from true believers to those casual listeners just interested in something a bit different to alleviate the boredom. When the situation eased you had started taking road trips around the US, searching for creatures like Bigfoot, the Mothman, and the Jersey Devil. These didn't result in anything but were fun excursions, an excuse to travel and see new places. After someone suggested going to Scotland to look for the Loch Ness monster, Cerise leapt on it and talked you round to it too after much pleading. Saving up, you both took the flight across the Atlantic.
