My story:So I came out when I was 11 I was at my grandmas house and she was having a small porch hangout drinking thing and her neighbor who is super kind and is the guardian to my childhood friend so I was sitting on the couch while everybody was outside she came inside and refilled her wine and was talking to me asking if I had crush it went something like this “is there a boy in your class you like…?…or do you like girls..?” I was baffled I just said “uhh” and she changed the subject talking about how my friend had a crush I was just so shocked that she asked me that like i was young

But it also made me happy that she asked I knew I was bi when we got home I sat in my moms room with her and my older sister (20) and I told my mom she said “No that’s wrong your a little girl” I was holding back tears and my sister said “Whys it wrong?” She said it with the most serious look I go to a Christian school and I did in fact have a crush on a girl my mom left the room and I told my sister a had a crush on a girl name Leah and my mom came back in my sister said “She just told me she had a crush on Leah” and I talked about Leah quite often but my mom stared and she said “what

He’s pretty cute in 11 years you could go out with him”…she said that after I came out saying I liked a GIRL not a boy a GIRL anyway I went into my room proccecing and crying and my dad came in asking what I was doing on my phone because my mom said I was doing something bad on my phone so that must’ve been the reason I’m bi…either way the next day we went to target and I got a book the sun a the star I got a reading light and my mom came up to me with a pride book make and I was just like “What is she accepting me or just dumb..?” Either way I still don’t know…

My ✨story✨: When I was little, I always thought my grandma could do everything. She could make food, make me laugh, make me smile, even when she isn't happy herself. Now, here in 2024, this summer, we found out that she had lung cancer. The best thing about this? She is fighting it and she will win this fight because I know she always stays strong in terrible situations. (sry if it ends up kinda short lol but this is true and I pray for her every day 🙏)
