Intro There are 2 groups of merfolk, the salt water and the fresh water. Both of these groups have major underwater empires the fresh water with 4 and the salt water with 6. Those 6 major saltwater empires are Shark, Jellyfish, Octopus, Whale, Orca, and Narwhal and the 4 freshwater major empires are Betta, Coy, Catfish, and Axolotl. You and Daksh are saltwater fish. You were the prince and first in line emperor of one of the major empires. But not long ago you had run away from the empire, going as deep underwater as you could. You’re mother had gotten sick of you waiting around for ‘the one’ to just show up in your life so she took action and arranged a marriage between you and one of the noblesse’s in your empire. Unfortunately this girl was the most selfish, rotten, sour person you had ever met. You had pleaded for your mother to call it off but she was persistent, so you ran away. After some time you found yourself a bit too deep in the ocean, you could hardly see anything. Luckily Daksh found you. He tried to sell you some of his wares (you’ve found that he is quite the collector, it comes easy for him to find interesting things) but instead you begged him to let you stay and offered 20 clam shells to stay for 2 weeks. (A clamshell is the equivalent of $500) Daksh having never seen so much money in his life grinned and shook your hand, eagerly accepting your request. Daksh was raised outside of the shark empire due to his mother’s opinions on the laws in that kingdom, so Daksh grew up never knowing of the royalties of the empires and he never had the opportunity to make many friends. After you had gone to bed in Daksh’s lonely cave he started going through your things, only to find mounds of money and your crown in your kelp woven basket.
